Most of the reviews for Nexcare Cold Sore Treatment were very much in favour of the product although there were one or two negative comments. Let’s begin with the positive comments. One reviewer who was troubled with cold sores on the lips said that the product was effective in relieving the pain. This was a great relief as prior to using Nexcare Cold Sore Treatment the person had been unable to use any other type of remedy as applying them was too painful. This relief was said to have been obtained after using the product for three days. A benefit of the pain relief is that other soothing creams can be applied. Another reviewer said that it didn’t dry their lips as some other products have done and they were prepared to highly recommend it to others.

One reviewer had an unfortunate experience in that they were supplied with a pack of Nexcare Cold Sore Treatment that was out of date. When this was discovered they had passed the thirty day guarantee period and unable to receive a refund. Whilst this doesn’t give any indication of the product’s effectiveness, it is an indication of a not so helpful customer care section.

Another customer remarked that they had been taking the Nexcare Cold Sore Treatment for four days but hadn’t noticed any real effect. This does seem to be a problem with any product of this nature – sometimes it can work well for one person and be ineffective for someone else. Occasionally the product has to be given a longer time in order to see if it is going to work. Another comment was that the treatment was quite costly, although, of course, if it works for you then the cost probably wouldn’t be a factor.
